Job summary

Stripe is seeking an experienced risk and compliance strategist to own the Industry Expansion Strategy for global growth. You’ll ensure merchant portfolios remain compliant with Visa, Mastercard, and other networks as Stripe scales worldwide.

You’ll partner with Sales, Risk, Compliance, and Product teams to catch issues early, design scalable processes, and balance growth with risk, while advocating for the end user and business enablement.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in Payments/FinTech with card network compliance experience.
• Knowledge of KYC/KYB, AML OFAC compliance.
• Experience delivering strategic programs.
• Ability to turn complex regulatory issues into actionable steps.
• Strong stakeholder management and executive presence.

Responsibilities

• Own merchant risk management processes for PCI- and related services.
• Collaborate with Sales, Risk, Compliance, and Product to design compliance strategies.
• Embed with first-line teams to train and enable risk-first decisions.
• Develop and optimize processes for efficiency and automation across the portfolio.
• Conduct research to inform long-term strategic growth and execution.
