Job summary

Capital One is seeking a Global Payment Network Director of Risk Advisory to lead risk management for network and merchant businesses. This role will guide advisory activities across schemes like PULSE, Discover Network and Diners Club, aligning with enterprise risk management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or military experience.
• 8+ years of legal, compliance, or risk management experience OR at least 8 years of regulatory experience in consumer financial services or payments industry.
• At least 4 years of experience in people management.
• At least 4 years of experience consulting with and presenting to executive leadership.
• MBA or related advanced degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with first and second line functions to analyze the existing risk management program framework for the network and merchant services business.
• Provide advice and challenge on the risks impacting the network and merchant businesses to leadership.
• Advise business leaders on regulatory requirements, policies, and industry standards.
• Develop expert understanding of end-to-end network and merchant processes worldwide.
• Identify trends in business data and understand network payments risks.
