Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or military experience required.
• 3+ years of technology risk assessment or related activities.
• 5+ years of legal, compliance, or risk management experience OR 4+ years of regulatory experience in consumer financial services or payments industry.
• Strong collaboration and leadership capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Provide compliance advisory and effective challenge on network and merchant risks for the network and merchant businesses.
• Develop expert understanding of network and merchant processes and applicable laws/regulations.
• Analyze business processes against Capital One's global legal inventory and regulatory requirements.
• Identify trends in data and payments risk to inform risk management decisions.
• Collaborate with first and second lines of defense to apply and educate on the risk management framework.
