The ideal candidate has a JD, active license, 7–12 years in top firms or financial institutions, and deep expertise in European payments regulation (MiCA, PSD2), including cross‑border payment experience.

Qualifications

• J.D. or equivalent law degree and active license to practice in at least one jurisdiction.
• Approximately 7–12 years of relevant legal experience at a top law firm, financial institution, fintech, payments company, or regulator.
• Deep expertise in European payments regulation, including MiCA and PSD2.
• Experience with cross-border payment products.

Responsibilities

• Advise on the development, launch, and scaling of stablecoin and fiat payment products.
• Provide regulatory guidance on product design and settlement models.
• Support go-to-market planning and regulatory readiness.
• Lead multi-jurisdictional legal and regulatory analyses.
• Assess licensing, registration, and regulatory requirements applicable to payment services and digital assets.
