Job summary

Capital One is seeking a Senior Director, Crisis Management to own operational readiness and response for network-wide disruptions across the global payment network. You will partner with Enterprise Crisis Program, global command centers, and tech/product teams to raise the bar on resilience, embedding playbooks and incident response across ecosystem partners.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or military experience.
• 7+ years of experience in Risk Management.
• 3+ years experience in Operations Management.
• 3+ years experience in Project Management.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategic response to major network disruptions and coordinate across enterprise and regional hubs.
• Activate Crisis Management Core Team and Extended Team by severity.
• Monitor multiple channels to ensure timely crisis detection and action.
• Interface with Tech for High Sev event responses when the network is impacted.
• Coordinate communications to align customer-facing messaging with stakeholders.
• Partner with Enterprise Crisis Program and command centers for unified escalation and governance.
