Job summary

Blue Hawaiian Helicopters in Hawaii seeks a Sales Account Manager to drive affiliate partnerships and new business across our partnership portfolio, including Asia markets. This role collaborates with the Reservations team to ensure seamless handoffs from sale to service and maintains partner relationships with content updates and rate negotiations.

You will travel as needed (75%) and engage in negotiations, prospecting, and territory expansion, translating market insights into growth

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university.
• 7+ years of related experience in sales/account management and/or hospitality sales.
• Experience working with Asia markets (Japan, Korea, and China).

Responsibilities

• Acquire, negotiate, and contract affiliate partnerships to grow sales.
• Collaborate with Reservations Manager to hand off newly contracted accounts and group business for processing, fulfillment, and inventory management.
• Represent Blue Hawaiian tour offerings, booking process and policies, rates structures and retail options at bases.
• Visit outside partners and concierge/sales locations with periodic inter-island travel as needed to promote BHH.
• Drive new revenue by identifying and closing sales opportunities and growing volume across the portfolio.
• Maintain regular communication with agencies via emails and campaigns.
• Attend sales meetings and trade shows throughout the year.
• Be the first point of contact for escalated agency issues.
• Proactively manage insurance renewals and updates.
• Monitor partner sales performance and identify growth opportunities.
• Resolve accounting issues and support accounting as needed.
• Collaborate with internal departments to meet company objectives.
• Stay updated on market developments and opportunities.
• AD hoc projects and duties as assigned.
