Job summary

Blue Hawaiian Helicopters is seeking a results-driven Sales Account Manager in Hawaii. You will cultivate affiliate partnerships, negotiate contracts, and drive revenue across the partner portfolio while coordinating with Reservations to ensure smooth transitions from sale to service.

You will engage with Asia markets (Japan, Korea, China), travel industry professionals, and key agencies, traveling as needed. Strong negotiation, communication, and organizational skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree (BS/BA) from four-year college or university and 7+ years’ related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 2-4 years professional experience in sales/account management and/or customer service (ideally in the hospitality industry)
• Experience working with Asia markets such as Japan, Korea, and China
• Knowledge of travel and concierge industry.

Responsibilities

• Acquire, negotiate, and contract affiliate partnerships to grow BHH sales
• Partner closely with the Reservations Manager, handing off newly contracted accounts and group business for processing, fulfillment, and inventory management to ensure a seamless transition from sale to service
• Represent BHH with an understanding of all Blue Hawaiian tour offerings, booking process and policies, rates structures and retail options at bases
• Visit outside partners and concierge/sales locations with periodic inter-island travel to promote BHH
• Drive new revenue by identifying, pursuing, and closing sales opportunities and by growing the volume and value of business generated across the portfolio
• Maintain regular communication with agencies via email campaigns and quarterly updates
• Attend sales meetings, functions, conferences, and trade show opportunities
• Be first POC for escalated agency related issues
• Proactively manage insurance renewals and updates within company systems
• Monitor partner sales performance and production trends to identify growth opportunities
• Resolve accounting issues/discrepancies and support accounting as needed
• Collaborate with internal departments to meet objectives
• Keep up to date with market developments identifying gaps and opportunities
• Ad hoc projects and other duties as assigned
