Job summary

The Estée Lauder Companies Inc. is seeking a Manager, Global Packaging Development to lead complex packaging programs across brands and drive innovative, sustainable packaging solutions from concept through commercialization.

The role requires deep technical expertise, strong cross-functional leadership, and the ability to develop teams while aligning packaging strategies with brand objectives and consumer expectations.

Qualifications

• Minimum BS degree in Packaging Science, Packaging Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Design, Materials Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• Direct experience: 5+ years in cosmetic packaging development.
• Proficiency with packaging materials, decoration, and manufacturing technologies.

Responsibilities

• Lead packaging development programs across brands from concept to commercialization.
• Translate business strategy into robust, sustainable packaging solutions.
• Collaborate with Marketing, Design, Product Development, R&I, BVC, GSM, Manufacturing, Quality, Regulatory, Sustainability, and suppliers.
• Lead risk management (FMEA) and drive continuous improvement across programs.
