Job summary

Jabil, a leading provider of engineering, supply chain and manufacturing solutions, seeks an experienced Operations Manager to oversee a Cayey facility and drive cost reductions while meeting customer expectations.

The role focuses on long-range planning, staff leadership, and collaboration with senior leadership to grow the business and improve site efficiency in a dynamic manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from four‑year college; Master’s degree preferred.
• Minimum 4 years experience with high-volume electronic manufacturing services.
• Experience in customer relationship development and personnel management.
• Strong knowledge of global/regional logistics operations and tax/regimes.
• Proven ability to lead change and cost-reduction programs.
• Strong communication skills; proficient PC skills and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Pursues additional business opportunities to expand the business and increase customer satisfaction.
• Completes long-range planning to support overall goals of the Company.
• Responsible for the discipline and morale of the facility; supports the VP, Operations.
• Coordinates with senior staff via email, phone, fax and in person.
• Forecast revenue and capital expenditures to reduce operational costs and grow business.
• Leads staff and management to ensure high quality and teamwork.
• Looks for ways to improve efficiency and resource management.
• Provides site familiarization and follow-up with customers to win new business.
• Reviews pricing with current and prospective customers.
• May perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
