Job summary

Amgen is seeking a Senior Manager, Scientific Communications & Engagement Strategy - Oncology Publication Lead to develop and execute high-impact scientific publication and engagement plans. You will collaborate with Medical Affairs, Clinical Development, and field leaders to align communications with product objectives.

The role focuses on publications, content development, and adherence to GPP/ICMJE guidelines, with ongoing process improvements and cross-functional metrics tracking.

Qualifications

• Doctorate degree or higher with relevant Medical/Scientific Affairs experience.
• Masters degree with 6+ years in Medical/Scientific Affairs.
• Bachelor's degree with 8+ years in Medical/Scientific Affairs.
• Associates degree with 10+ years in Medical/Scientific Affairs.
• High school diploma or GED with 12+ years in Medical/Scientific Affairs.

Responsibilities

• Lead global and US scientific communication and HCP engagement plans with product medical leads and field leaders.
• Adapt strategies to disease landscape, data, channels, and cross-functional insights.
• Partner to define, implement and track metrics to assess publications impact and content.
• Coordinate with Amgen India to translate plans into global and US content.
• Oversee publication planning and execution, ensuring alignment with scientific narrative.
