Amgen is seeking a Senior Manager of Scientific Communications & Engagement Strategy to lead global and US scientific communications and HCP engagement in collaboration with Medical Affairs, Clinical Development and Commercial teams.

The role requires strong analytical and communication skills, regulatory awareness, and experience in multi‑channel scientific platforms. Travel and cross‑functional leadership are expected in a dynamic, industry‑leading setting.

Qualifications

• Doctorate or 2+ years Medical/Scientific Affairs experience OR
• Masters with 6+ years Medical/Scientific Affairs experience OR
• Bachelor’s with 8+ years Medical/Scientific Affairs experience OR
• Associates with 10+ years Medical/Scientific Affairs experience OR
• High school diploma with 12+ years Medical/Scientific Affairs experience

Responsibilities

• Develop global and US scientific communication and HCP engagement plans
• Collaborate with Medical Affairs, Clinical Development and Commercial teams
• Oversee content review for scientific materials and digital assets
• Translate plans into global content with India collaboration
• Define metrics to measure content impact and channel effectiveness
• Support educational programming at congresses and educational events
• Drive process improvements and digital innovation in communications
• Mentor and guide India and cross‑regional teams
• Manage external vendors and ensure quality and compliance
