Job summary

Merck & Co. is seeking an Associate Director for Oncology Insights and Engagement in the INT region.

Based in the US, you will partner with Global Oncology Marketing to translate complex data into actionable insights that shape asset strategy and launch readiness. You will quarterback end-to-end delivery of DHH and IT capabilities, lead cross-functional teams, and apply advanced analytics and AI to improve commercial decisions and patient understanding across pipeline assets.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in marketing, data insights and analytics, or related roles within pharma/healthcare.
• Experience mining claims/EMR data to generate actionable insights.
• Strong ability to consolidate and synthesize data insights for business decisions.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Global Marketing to translate business needs into analytical plans.
• Develop and own commercial insights strategy and roadmap with AI integration.
• Lead end-to-end orchestration of DHH and IT capabilities for integrated outputs.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams across data science, forecasting, and research.
• Mentor a team of analysts and data scientists and drive a culture of urgency and learning.
