Merck is seeking an Associate Director for Oncology Insights and Engagement to lead data-driven insights and strategic analytics across Global Oncology Marketing Engagement. The role drives end-to-end delivery of insights, analytics, and digital capabilities, including AI-enabled solutions, to inform asset strategy and decision making.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in marketing, data insights and analytics within pharma/healthcare
• Experience mining claims/EMR data to derive actionable insights
• Ability to synthesize primary and secondary data into commercial recommendations
• Strong communication, storytelling and stakeholder management
• Awareness of AI (agentic AI) in regulated environments and data privacy

Responsibilities

• Partner with Global Marketing to translate business needs into analytical plans and hypotheses
• Develop and own the commercial insight generation strategy and roadmap, leveraging AI where appropriate
• Quarterback end-to-end delivery of insights, analytics and digital capabilities across DHH and IT
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (market research, forecasting, data strategy) to ensure integrated outputs
• Lead and mentor a team of analysts and data scientists and foster continuous learning
