Job summary

Merck & Co., Inc. is seeking a Director of Strategic Forecasting Insights to lead strategic forecasts for multiple assets and indications. You will collaboration with Market Access, Data Science, and Payer Analytics to shape inputs and insights for business decisions.

The role combines independent contribution with team leadership, guiding forecasting cycles and stakeholder engagement across US and international teams in a hybrid work setting.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8–10+ years delivering complex analytics in pharma/biotech.
• Experience developing forecast models and extracting insights.
• Direct line management or leading high‑performance teams preferred.

Responsibilities

• Determine forecast modeling approaches, tools and techniques.
• Lead cross‑functional collaboration to develop forecasting inputs.
• Run forecasting cycles aligned with enterprise processes.
• Mentor and develop a team of strategic forecasters.
• Communicate insights clearly to Marketing, Finance and Partners.
