Job summary

Runway is seeking a Workplace Lead to own Runway's offices and how they are built and experienced. You’ll manage real estate, budgets, and events across multiple cities including NYC, SF, Seattle, London, Paris and Tel Aviv, coordinating with People, Finance, IT and Security to optimize space and operations.

You will drive move-in timelines, vendor contracts, design and construction, and ensure safety, compliance and an exceptional workplace experience for staff and visitors.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in corporate real estate, facilities or workplace operations.
• Deep project management across construction schedules, permitting and logistics.
• Hands-on lease and vendor contracts experience and a budget you signed off on.
• Cross-functional experience with Finance, People, IT and Security.
• At least one office taken from first site visit through opening day.
• International real estate, employment or compliance experience is a plus.
• Capable of writing process docs and vendor scorecards for a workplace function.

Responsibilities

• Handle daily operation of each office: cleaning, repairs, food, supplies, access control, health and safety.
• Own the workplace budget and reporting, from rent and capex to daily operating spend.
• Run onsite programming: all-hands, offsites, events, screenings and partner visits.
• Decide space needs per city and timing using hiring forecasts with People and Finance.
• Take new offices from shortlist to signed lease with brokers, Legal and Finance.
• Manage design, construction and furniture projects to move-in dates.
• Work with IT and Security on network, AV and access ahead of openings.
• Set up local vendors, services and compliance in new markets.
• Travel occasionally to Runway offices, especially around openings or large events.
• Define what good looks like for a Runway office and audit against it for visitors and staff.
