Job summary

Amphenol Communications Solutions in Valley Green, PA, seeks a Global Project Engineer to drive complex NPI programs from design transfer through ramp to mass production. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline (Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial, Electrical).
• 3–5 years in NPI, project engineering, or related manufacturing roles.
• Experience coordinating cross-functional engineering and manufacturing activities.
• Knowledge of drawings, BOMs, process validation, tooling, and qualification requirements.
• Strong project-management, schedule tracking, risk management, and issue resolution.
• Proficiency with Excel, PowerPoint, Teams; familiarity with PLM/ERP/MRP or SharePoint is preferred.
• Willingness to travel ~25–40% domestically and internationally.

Responsibilities

• Drive global CBS NPI programs from design transfer to mass production ramp with manufacturing readiness focus.
• Develop integrated engineering execution plans covering BOM readiness, tooling, and test readiness.
• Coordinate engineering, NPI, industrial engineering, quality, and supply chain teams across sites.
• Lead action-item discipline, track risks, and escalate blockers with clear actions.
• Serve as global coordination point for design changes and site readiness visibility.
• Support NPI phase-gate readiness reviews (EVT, DVT, PVT, qualification, MP).
• Plan prototype and production build readiness, securing resources and capacity.
• Coordinate design revisions, BOM changes, and process updates across sites.
• Maintain risk/issue registers and drive containment and recovery actions.
• Prepare dashboards and executive updates on milestones, readiness, and yields.
