Job summary

Amphenol Communications Solutions (ACS), a division of Amphenol Corporation, seeks a Global Project Engineer for Nashua, NH. You will drive NPI programs from design transfer through production ramp, coordinating design releases, BOM readiness, tooling, testing, and manufacturing readiness.

You will lead cross-functional teams across Product Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain, and Manufacturing, manage risks, and sustain milestones with visibility across sites and time zones.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• 3-5 years of NPI, project engineering, manufacturing engineering, product transfer, or complex technical project experience.
• Demonstrated experience coordinating cross-functional engineering and manufacturing activities from development through production ramp.
• Working knowledge of drawings, BOMs, process validation, tooling, equipment qualification, test readiness, PFMEA/control plans, and manufacturing launch requirements.
• Strong project-management skills including integrated schedule development, milestone tracking, dependency management, risk management, issue escalation, and action closure.
• Proficiency with Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, and project-tracking/scheduling tools; experience with PLM, ERP/MRP, Power BI, or SharePoint is preferred.
• Excellent communication and influencing skills with the ability to drive accountability across multiple functions, sites, and time zones.
• Travel - Approximately 25-40% domestic and international travel.

Responsibilities

• Drive technical project execution for global CBS NPI programs from design transfer through EVT, DVT, PVT, qualification, production launch, and mass-production ramp.
• Develop integrated engineering execution plans covering design releases, BOM readiness, tooling, equipment, test, quality, process validation, capacity, build events, qualifications, and production readiness.
• Coordinate Product Engineering, Global NPI, Industrial Engineering, Quality, Test, Automation, Supply Chain, Planning, Operations, and site engineering teams around milestones and deliverables.
• Lead action-item discipline and maintain technical risks, dependencies, owners, due dates, recovery actions, and escalation criteria.
• Serve as a global technical coordination point for NPI execution, ensuring design changes and manufacturing constraints are visible and resolved quickly.
• Support formal readiness reviews for EVT, DVT, PVT, qualification, pilot, and MP release; confirm required technical and manufacturing deliverables.
