Job summary

Eaton Corporation is seeking a Program Manager II for the IS VEH EMB division to lead complex NPI and industrialization programs within a 50-mile radius of Southfield, MI. The role focuses on delivering on business case commitments while coaching junior PMs and interns.

You will apply Eaton’s NPI processes, guide project teams from initiation to closure, and ensure alignment with schedule, scope, and financial targets. Strong leadership and cross-functional collaboration are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.
• Minimum of 6 years of Program Management or a combination of Program Management with Operations, Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing/SCM, or Product Development.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience managing and leading projects.
• Eaton will not consider applicants for employment immigration sponsorship or support for this position.
• No relocation benefit is being offered for this position. Only candidates within a 50-mile radius of Southfield, MI, Marshall, MI, Galesburg, MI will be considered.

Responsibilities

• Manage the project lifecycle from development through launch while achieving business case financials of the NPI Program(s)/ STP Program(s) and / or VAVE projects.
• Lead cross-functional teams to drive accountability and performance established for commercial, technical, and manufacturing readiness levels at start of production.
• Develop and execute comprehensive project management plans that deliver on scope, schedule, and financial commitments.
• Influence and secure baseline business case expectations with key stakeholders in scope, benefit, cost, assumptions, risks/opportunities, milestones, and alternate implementation scenarios.
• Establish organizational resource management plans detailing core team member engagement for the project duration.
• Build cross-functional team dynamics, provide feedback, and drive proactive risk mitigation and problem solving.
