Job summary

Abbott is seeking a seasoned program and portfolio leader for its PMO New Product Introduction (NPI) team. You will drive end-to-end readiness from development through launch across global markets, translating business objectives into integrated program plans and governance.

You will coordinate R&D, Regulatory, Quality, Operations, Commercial and Market Access functions, delivering on key milestones while escalating risks and enabling informed executive decisions.

Qualifications

• Requires Bachelor’s Degree; 7+ years in program/portfolio leadership within a global, matrixed team.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience with consumer-focused medical or software products is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead major NPI programs and translate strategy into executable plans and roadmaps.
• Align program execution with product roadmaps, IBP processes and launch commitments.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams and external partners to manage dependencies across multiple workstreams.
• Lead program governance and support portfolio decision-making; provide status, risk, and recommendations to leadership.
• Drive readiness across product development, regulatory, digital, and commercial launch activities; ensure successful launches.
