Job summary

Samtec, Inc. in New Albany, IN, is seeking an experienced NPI Operations Manager to oversee and align all global operations related to non-released and new product introduction readiness.

You will partner with Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain, Sales and regional Plant Managers to ensure on-time, on-budget, high-quality handoffs to production, while driving consistency and speed across sites.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in Manufacturing Production Operations or Engineering; electronics/manufacturing experience preferred.
• Familiarity with NPI stage-gate processes, DFM, PFMEA, control plan development, and first-article inspection.
• Must be familiar with ISO 9001, IATF 16949 and global manufacturing cultures; travel internationally.

Responsibilities

• Define and own the global NPI operations strategy across sites.
• Lead NPI readiness reviews before new product releases to scale production.
• Develop KPIs for NPI performance and drive continuous improvement.
• Sponsor global NPI talent development and manage cross-site capacity, tooling, and staffing.
