Job summary

Samtec, Inc. is seeking a Global Process Engineering Manager to lead a worldwide team responsible for standardizing and improving manufacturing processes for mainstream products.

You will drive cost savings, mentor engineers globally, and provide strategic manufacturing guidance to capture new opportunities. In this onsite role at Samtec's New Albany, IN headquarters, you will collaborate with Product and Automation teams to ensure manufacturability, quality, and cost competitiveness, while

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Process Engineering or a related Engineering discipline.
• 2+ years of experience managing engineering teams, specifically in Process Engineering.
• Proven track record of delivering measurable cost savings through continuous improvement programs.
• Experience with real savings tracking and post-implementation verification.
• Experience in the semiconductor or microelectronics industry preferred.
• Proven ability to mentor and develop engineering teams in a global, multi-site environment.
• Strong communication skills with ability to present to and influence upper management.
• Ability to travel.

Responsibilities

• Establish, maintain, and enforce standardized process documentation across global sites.
• Serve as the central authority for global process consistency across sites.
• Coordinate with site Process Engineering teams to close process gaps.
• Design products and processes for global manufacturability with engineering managers.
• Lead identification and execution of continuous improvement opportunities.
• Manage projects end-to-end with measurable outcomes and traceable savings.
• Provide guidance and mentoring to Global Process Engineers.
