Job summary

Samtec in New Albany, IN is seeking an experienced NPI Operations Manager to guide global readiness for new and unreleased products, partnering with Engineering, Quality, and Supply Chain.

This onsite role drives strategy, capacity planning, tooling, and performance reviews across sites to ensure on-time, on-budget launches with quality standards.

Candidates should have 7+ years in manufacturing operations or engineering and a Bachelor’s degree.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in Manufacturing Production Operations or Engineering.
• Experience managing global or multi-site teams.
• Familiar with NPI stage-gate, DFM, PFMEA, control plans.
• Knowledge of ISO 9001 / IATF 16949 and global regulatory context.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally.

Responsibilities

• Define and own global NPI operations strategy across sites.
• Lead NPI readiness reviews before new product releases to volume manufacturing.
• Coordinate capacity, tooling, equipment, and staffing with regional directors and plant managers.
• Establish and track NPI KPIs and drive continuous improvement in NPI processes.
