Job summary

Beckman Coulter Life Sciences, a Danaher operating company, seeks a Senior Manager for Global New Product Introduction (NPI) – Systems Hardware in a remote-enabled role. You will bridge R&D, product management, supply chain, and manufacturing to ensure on-time commercialization of complex life-science instruments.

Reqs include 10+ years in engineering/ manufacturing, 5+ years in leadership, and strong design transfer and risk management experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Biomedical, Electrical, Manufacturing, Systems, or a closely related engineering discipline.
• Typically 10+ years of progressive experience in engineering, manufacturing, operations, product development, and/or new product introduction.
• At least 5 years of people leadership across locations or global matrix environments and knowledge of FDA, ISO, quality systems, design controls, and lifecycle requirements.
• Experience launching complex electromechanical, software-enabled, diagnostic, medical device, or life science instrumentation products in regulated environments.
• Deep experience with design transfer, industrialization, manufacturing readiness, process development and validation, tooling, ramp, and lifecycle support.

Responsibilities

• Lead hardware NPI governance and cross-functional execution from concept to commercialization.
• Ensure manufacturing readiness across U.S., China, and Europe.
• Develop and deploy global NPI and manufacturing strategies aligned with growth and roadmaps.
• Drive design for manufacturing, assembly, test, service, reliability, and cost.
• Lead and develop managers, engineers, and project leaders across a global matrix.
