Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Systems, Biomedical Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 12+ years of product development experience, or 10+ years with MS/PhD.
• 5+ years leading hardware engineering teams in a global matrixed environment.
• Experience in regulated industries and complex instrumentation development.
• Strong systems architecture, design controls, and V&V expertise.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a hardware engineering team for instrument platform development and lifecycle support.
• Define engineering strategy, roadmaps, resources, and priorities to enable innovation.
• Drive hardware development with systems, software, product management, quality, regulatory, and operations.
• Establish engineering best practices including design reviews, risk management, and DFM/V&V.
• Collaborate with cross-functional leaders to align priorities and deliver results.
• Provide technical leadership for architecture decisions and technology selection.
• Build organizational capability through continuous improvement and Danaher tools.
