Job summary

Beckman Coulter Life Sciences in Indianapolis, IN, is seeking a Staff NPI Manufacturing Engineer to support new product introductions across multiple locations. This on-site role reports to the Sr.

Manager, Global NPI Operations-Systems/Hardware and participates in the New Product Introduction Team. You will collaborate with Suppliers, Operations, and Planning to define processes, qualify parts, release prints and BOMs, and ensure production readiness while mentoring team members and driving

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Engineering Technology with 10+ years in manufacturing, quality, or process engineering.
• Experience with instrumentation design and integration including complex electro-mechanical systems, fluid handling, pneumatic, thermal, and optical systems.
• Experience with materials and fabrication processes and CAD/CAE tools (SolidWorks), GD&T, statistical software, and PM tools.
• Experience leading design changes in regulated environments (FDA/ISO/Automotive) with on-time delivery.
• Experience with formal problem solving using analytical and statistical methods.
• Experience leading large projects with responsibility for on-time delivery and target costs.

Responsibilities

• Work with Suppliers and Procurement to complete Supplier Selections and Part Qualifications.
• Work with Operations to complete the Process Development and Process Qualification.
• Work with Planning to complete Part Releases.
• Represent Operations as the Core Team member for the New Product Introductions.
• Mentor other Team Members on New Product Introduction Standard Work.
• Travel up to 25% to other manufacturing locations or suppliers.
