Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
• 6+ years of work experience in network engineering with emphasis on design or architecture.
• 4+ years of coding in Python/Go/C++ for automation and tooling.
• Experience configuring devices for multiple vendors (Juniper, Cisco, Arista, Ciena).
• Proficiency in BGP/OSPF/ISIS and performance optimization.
• Experience applying AI to engineering workflows.

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and maintain multi-vendor, multi-protocol infrastructure networks (OOB, PON, FacNet, DR) across every Meta datacenter/POP.
• Own the full product lifecycle—from requirements gathering through RFC, design, POC, and production handoff.
• Write and review code; develop automation for deployment, configuration management, and release engineering.
• Drive New Platform Introduction from concept to lab validation and production handoff.
• Develop audits, health checks, and monitoring for network health and change management.
• Maintain relationships with vendors; drive roadmap alignment and hardware evaluations.
• Define SLAs, collect metrics, and report on network products; participate in oncall rotation.
