Job summary

Panasonic Avionics Corporation is seeking a Head of Network Operations Engineering to lead the function and ensure robust scalable architecture for the global network. You will oversee software/hardware development and work with internal and external customers to drive technology roadmaps and high-performing teams.

The role requires strong process capability, systems engineering, and knowledge of mechanical, electrical and software technologies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or 12+ years' related experience.
• Minimum 12 years technology-based service and network operations.
• Minimum 7 years in service-as-a-product environments.
• 10 years in management/leadership role.
• Strong strategic, business and investment skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the architecture development, planning and execution of Software and Hardware Development including research, design, and development of computer software and hardware systems.
• Coordinate with Program Office, Engineering & Leadership to manage services, systems and infrastructure for customer-interacting technology products.
• Evaluate design concepts, architectures and circuits for performance, scalability and cost optimization.
• Interact with customer-facing teams and customers to discuss product operation and maintenance.
• Oversee budgeting, staffing and vendor coordination to support product lines.
• Define strategy and resource allocation for operational functions across Panasonic's network operations.
• Mentor and coach technical leaders, build a strong bench of future leaders.
