Qualifications

• 8 years of experience and a Bachelor's degree are required.
• Experience in a NOC environment with hands-on hardware is required.
• Knowledge of computer hardware and networking equipment is essential.
• Strong troubleshooting skills in a large-scale data center are required.
• Understanding of Linux system administration, server administration and internals.
• Professional problem solving, communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Deploying and repairing servers, storage systems, routers, switches and other hardware.
• Installing hardware, cabling, firmware and software on-site and remotely.
• Managing hardware decommission projects, including disposal and data destruction.
• Shipping and receiving networking equipment to maintain network availability and reliability.
• Performing data center migrations and hardware platform upgrades.
• Coordinating data center deployments from hardware requests to rack design.
