Qualifications

8+ years of relevant experience in network infrastructure.
Bachelor's degree in a technical field.
Hands-on hardware experience in a NOC environment.
Knowledge of computer hardware and networking equipment.
Strong troubleshooting, Linux system administration, and server administration skills.
Excellent problem solving and interpersonal communication.

Responsibilities

Deploying and repairing servers, storage systems, routers, switches, and other hardware.
Installing hardware, cabling, firmware, and software on-site and remotely.
Managing hardware decommission projects, including disposal and data destruction.
Shipping and receiving networking equipment to maintain availability and reliability.
Performing data center migration and hardware platform upgrade projects.
Coordinating data center deployments from hardware requests to rack design.
