Job summary

Synopsys is seeking a senior network engineer to design and support enterprise networks supporting global teams and AI workloads. You will architect LAN/WAN/data center security, deploy multi-vendor platforms, and build automation to standardize configurations and accelerate deployments.

The role emphasizes SD-WAN, EVPN/VXLAN, and scalable architectures with a focus on security and observability across a 30,000-person organization.

Qualifications

8+ years of hands-on network engineering experience in enterprise environments.
Expert-level routing and switching knowledge (BGP, OSPF, EVPN/VXLAN, SD-WAN, MPLS).
Strong network security expertise (IPSec, IKE, 802.1x, NAC, EAP-TLS).
Proficiency with automation tools (Python, Ansible, Terraform, REST APIs).
Experience with multi-vendor Cisco/Aruba/Palo Alto/Zscaler deployments.

Responsibilities

Design and architect enterprise network solutions across LAN, WAN, data center, wireless, and security.
Deploy and troubleshoot production networks using key vendors across multi-site environments.
Develop automation workflows to standardize configurations and speed deployments.
Lead SD-WAN, EVPN/VXLAN, DMVPN implementations for scalable connectivity.
Monitor performance and security posture; perform packet analysis to diagnose issues.
Produce and maintain network diagrams, standards, and runbooks.
Mentor engineers and drive automation best practices across teams.
