Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in network planning, network engineering, capacity planning, telecommunications, IP networking, or a related technical field.
• Familiarity with IP networking concepts, backbone or edge network infrastructure, and network capacity or traffic analysis.
• Exposure to IP transit, peering, fiber, wavelength, or transport-network planning is preferred.
• Ability to analyze technical and operational data, identify trends, and communicate clear findings and recommendations.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with technical and cross-functional stakeholders.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to document assumptions, findings, and planning recommendations.

Responsibilities

• Analyze network demand, utilization, and infrastructure needs across edge and backbone domains.
• Develop capacity plans, support investment decisions, and identify opportunities to improve performance and reliability.
• Collaborate with network engineers, planners, sourcing teams, and stakeholders to align capacity with business needs.
• Document assumptions, findings, and planning recommendations for clear communication.
