Oracle is seeking a Principal Infrastructure Demand Planner to own capacity forecasting and planning for OCI's global network. The role focuses on backbone, metro, and POP capacity, partnering with fiber sourcing and site design teams while navigating capital approvals.

You will mentor junior planners, stay ahead on industry trends, and work with engineering, operations, and finance to optimize cost and performance across the network.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain capacity forecasts for OCI's network footprint.
• Partner with fiber sourcing to secure dark fiber IRUs and DWDM plans.
• Navigate capital approval processes (PAQ/CAR/PR/PO) for funding.
• Collaborate on OAD/3AD/POP/Hub site planning with capacity needs.
• Track industry trends to identify optimization opportunities.
• Conduct capacity reviews and share insights with stakeholders.
• Align capacity planning with engineering, operations, and finance.
• Document capacity planning processes for consistency.
• Mentor junior capacity planners and share knowledge.
