Job summary

HSBC in the United States is seeking an Analyst to support Relationship Managers covering Technology and Innovation Banking clients headquartered outside the US. You’ll help with onboarding, service delivery and risk controls, contributing to a consistent one-HSBC experience across borders.

You’ll work closely with product specialists, prepare materials for client meetings, and coordinate cross-border activities to deliver end-to-end execution while developing toward Junior Relationship Manager

Qualifications

• Experience in banking, finance or consulting is preferred.
• Strong analytical capability and clear summarization of insights.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks with tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Support Relationship Managers to optimize client relationships through proactive engagement and needs-based support.
• Attend client meetings, prepare agendas and materials, capture follow-ups and track actions through to completion.
• Act as a point of contact for day-to-day client queries, resolving issues quickly and escalating appropriately.
• Maintain internal coordination across borders and product lines so clients experience one HSBC.
• Support the preparation of credit applications, annual reviews and ongoing monitoring materials to support portfolio management.
• Draft and maintain account commentary, meeting notes, call reports and client plans in a clear decision-useful way.
• Coordinate onboarding and account maintenance activity with internal teams to deliver smooth end-to-end execution.
• Triage service issues across cash management and day-to-day banking, coordinating with specialist teams as needed.
• Own service issues end-to-end by progressing actions, identifying root causes and improving processes to prevent repeat issues.
• Identify product and solution opportunities through client research, transaction analysis and ongoing dialogue with stakeholders.
