Job summary

LABUR is partnering with a client to hire a Senior Network Architect to lead architecture and design across data center, campus, manufacturing, and remote offices. The role focuses on strategic planning, standards, and optimization of a global IP network.

The candidate will collaborate with architecture, engineering, security, and applications teams to define standards, policies, and guidance, while delivering analyses, risk assessments, and project management for network initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in engineering or computer science.
• 10+ years in enterprise network architecture with Cisco routing/switching and IP subnetting.
• 8+ years in enterprise network security (firewalls, IDS/IPS, NAC, WAF) and PCI/SOX/NIST.
• CCIE/CCNP/PCNSE or similar certifications preferred; familiarity with Palo Alto Prisma Access, Cisco Meraki, Infoblox DDI, SD-WAN and automation tools.
• Experience supporting mergers, acquisitions, divestitures in bioscience/medical/manufacturing environments preferred.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills with ability to lead cross-functional teams and travel as needed.

Responsibilities

• Lead network architecture and design for enterprise data center, campus, manufacturing, distribution center, and remote offices.
• Develop technology roadmaps and drive continuous optimization of the global IP network.
• Partner with architecture, engineering, security, and application teams to define standards, policies, and engineering guidance documentation.
• Provide subject matter expertise to IT teams and service providers on network infrastructure modifications and maintenance.
• Conduct capacity analysis, health and performance management, and continuous service improvement initiatives.
• Evaluate and recommend emerging technologies, including SD-WAN, wireless networking, and multi-cloud solutions.
• Deliver business and technical analyses, risk assessments, audit responses, reporting, and project management for network initiatives.
