Job summary

Synergy Business Consulting, Inc. is hiring a Lead Network Architect to own the enterprise network roadmap spanning on-prem, Azure, and GCP. You will drive WAN/SD-WAN/MPLS, cloud interconnects, and firewall architecture, partnering with security to implement Zero Trust and segmentation.

You will lead automation through Terraform and Ansible, establish observability standards, and mentor engineers, with strong executive communication to transform global networks.

Qualifications

• 13+ years in enterprise networking.
• 10+ years architecting complex global networks.
• Azure and GCP networking architecture experience.
• Expertise in BGP, OSPF, Juniper switching, MPLS/SD-WAN, and DNS.
• Palo Alto and Juniper firewall architecture.
• Terraform and Ansible for network automation at scale.

Responsibilities

• Define the enterprise network architecture roadmap across on-prem, Azure, and GCP.
• Architect WAN, SD-WAN, MPLS, IPSec, and cloud interconnect solutions (BGP, OSPF, VRF).
• Partner with Security on Zero Trust, segmentation, and firewall architecture.
• Drive an automation-first culture with Terraform, Ansible, and CI/CD.
• Set observability standards (Splunk, ThousandEyes) and lead root-cause analysis on major incidents.
• Review designs, lead PoCs, and mentor network engineers.
