Job summary

Synopsys, Inc. is seeking an experienced Senior Network Engineer to design and implement global enterprise networks across LAN, WAN, data centers, and security. You will build automation using Python, Ansible, and Terraform, and lead SD-WAN and EVPN/VXLAN initiatives to scale across distributed sites.

Strong collaboration with security and IT teams is essential. You will mentor engineers and help drive AI-driven network operations while ensuring reliability for a 30,000-user environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 8+ years in hands-on network engineering with senior/architectural responsibilities.
• Expert routing and switching protocols in multi-vendor environments.
• Deep security tech knowledge: IPSec, IKE, 802.1x, NAC, EAP-TLS.
• Proficiency with Python, Ansible, Terraform and REST APIs.

Responsibilities

• Design and architect enterprise network solutions across LAN, WAN, data center, wireless and security.
• Deploy and troubleshoot production networks across multi-site environments with key vendors.
• Build automation workflows to standardize configurations and speed deployments.
• Lead SD-WAN, EVPN/VXLAN, and DMVPN implementations for scalable connectivity.
• Maintain network documentation, runbooks, and security policies.
• Mentor engineers and collaborate with cross-functional IT teams.
• Monitor performance and security posture, analyze captures to diagnose issues.
