Job summary

Gravity IT Resources is seeking an experienced Network Engineer to design, implement, and maintain enterprise networks across MPLS WAN, SD-WAN, Data Center, Wireless, VPN, and Internet Edge environments. You will engineer Cisco-based solutions (Catalyst, Nexus, ACI, ISE, Secure Firewall) and build network automation with Python and Ansible.

You will lead technical design for MPLS, BGP, OSPF, EVPN, VXLAN, and QoS, mentor junior engineers, and collaborate with teams and vendors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree plus 5+ years in IT with at least 4 years designing and supporting Cisco Systems products (or 10+ years IT experience with 5+ years Cisco in lieu of a degree)
• Strong grasp of network capacity planning, security principles, and network management best practices
• Ability to work independently and coordinate across multiple teams and vendors
• Experience with Palo Alto firewalls, SCADA communications design, or Python/Ansible automation is a plus

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain enterprise network solutions across MPLS WAN, SD-WAN, Data Center, Wireless, VPN, and Internet Edge environments
• Engineer and support Cisco-based solutions including Catalyst, Nexus, ACI, SD-WAN, ISE, and Secure Firewall
• Design, deploy, and troubleshoot Cisco ACI fabrics and multi-site/multi-pod data center architectures
• Lead technical design for MPLS, Segment Routing, BGP, OSPF, EVPN, VXLAN, and QoS
• Design and support VPN, SD-WAN, SASE, and zero-trust access solutions
• Build network automation using APIs, Python, and Ansible
• Perform advanced troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and capacity/performance monitoring
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to team standards and best practices
