Job summary

Baltimore Aircoil Company seeks a hands-on Network Engineer to own and operate the global network across corporate offices and plants. You will design, implement, and manage routing, switching, wireless, firewall, and WAN infrastructure to support a secure, reliable enterprise network.

Reports to the Manager of IT Infrastructure, North America. On-site at Jessup, MD, with occasional travel to BAC sites. A true generalist capable of strategic design and day-to-day troubleshooting is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent with professional experience.
• 5–7 years in network engineering/architecture roles.
• Hands-on Cisco routing/switching, wireless, and SD-WAN experience.
• Firewall, VPN, and network segmentation expertise.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain global network architecture (LAN/WAN/WLAN).
• Lead network projects from design through testing and documentation.
• Own day-to-day operations: monitoring, capacity planning, and lifecycle management.
• Configure firewalls, VPNs, ACLs, and segmentation for IT/OT environments.
• Lead incident response and perform root cause analysis.
• Collaborate with OT and IT teams and external vendors on projects.
• Maintain up-to-date network diagrams, inventories, and change records.
• Support disaster recovery planning and audit/compliance activities.
