The role requires strong analytical skills, 3+ years in industrial networking, 40-hour week, and up to 40% travel to remote sites.

Qualifications

3+ years hands-on experience in network engineering in a manufacturing/industrial environment.
3+ years experience in transport, logistics, construction, or related field.
Proficiency with routing/switching, firewall administration, VPN, SD-WAN, and industrial protocols such as Modbus, EtherNet/IP, PROFINET.
Experience with Cisco Meraki, Ubiquiti UniFi, or similar platforms.
Knowledge of IT/OT segmentation per Purdue Model and IEC 62443.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Effective written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

Architects, deploys, and maintains secure LAN, WAN, and WLAN infrastructures across corporate offices and industrial facilities.
Configures switches, routers, firewalls, APs, and cellular failover systems.
Implements IT/OT segmentation and Purdue Model/IEC 62443 standards.
Manages VPNs and remote access for field engineers and vendors.
Designs network racks, cabling guides, and power/cooling considerations.
Deploys 24/7 network monitoring and performs firmware updates and hardware refreshes.
Maintains network documentation and SSPs.
