Job summary

Sirva is seeking an International Move Management Consultant to coordinate global moves, work with transferees and vendors, and ensure top-tier customer service. The role supports shipments across the US, Canada and overseas with emphasis on profitability and service quality.

This hybrid/remote position is based in Oakbrook Terrace, IL and offers a competitive salary with comprehensive benefits, aligned to experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required or equivalent work experience.
• Minimum 2 years of industry/freight forwarding experience OR 3 years of related customer service experience.
• Strong analytical skills: understanding of rev, expense margin, basic math (calculate weight, density, CWT, rates).
• Strong communication skills: oral and written with proper business etiquette.
• Strong organizational skills; ability to function as part of a team while acting as a self-starter.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Teamwork and ability to work with different cultures.

Responsibilities

• Communicate proactively, build relationships and ensure customer quality.
• Coordinate logistics, pricing, move details and troubleshoot/resolve process glitches.
• Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, billing and claims network management to ensure proper completion of moves.
• Generate rate quotes for Door-to-Door, Port-to-Door or Door-to-Port pricing for international moves.
• Move administration: data integrity in systems and timely paperwork for billing and disputes.
• Customer satisfaction and exception resolution to meet KPI goals.
