Emerson is seeking a strategic Segment Marketing Director for Motion Control to shape and execute growth across global markets. You will lead a cross-functional team and partner with Sales, Product Management, Engineering, and Marketing Communications to drive adoption and revenue growth.

You will shape strategy, develop market intelligence, and guide portfolio messaging, pricing, and go-to-market activities while overseeing a high-performing team and collaborating across geographies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Marketing, Business, Engineering, or related field.
• Proven leadership and professional experience.
• Ability to travel up to 50% domestically and internationally.
• Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Develop and lead the segment marketing strategy for global Motion Control business.
• Build market intelligence: market sizing, segmentation, insights, competitive analysis.
• Lead inputs into SBU strategic planning and resource allocation.
• Lead go-to-market strategies for new product launches and growth programs.
• Guide positioning, messaging, pricing strategies to differentiate portfolio.
• Collaborate with Product Management and Engineering to translate market needs into opportunities.
• Partner with Sales and Marketing Communications on engagement, demand generation, and enablement.
• Identify whitespace, adjacent markets, and potential partnerships or acquisitions.
• Establish KPIs and rhythms to measure growth programs and adjust actions.
