Baker Tilly, a fast-growing CPA advisory firm, seeks an Experienced Tax Associate for our Global Mobility Services practice. The role focuses on expatriate tax planning, compliance and advisory services for international assignees.

You will prepare U.S. individual tax returns, participate in tax meetings, perform research, and collaborate with Baker Tilly member firms globally. A 4‑year accounting degree and CPA/JD/EA pursuit plus at least one year of experience are required.

Qualifikationen

• Minimum 4-year degree required in Accounting or related field.
• GPA 3.0+ preferred.
• Eligible to obtain CPA, JD or EA.
• At least 1 year of experience with individual income tax issues.
• Experience with expatriate/tax equalization is a plus.

Aufgaben

• Prepare U.S. individual income tax returns for inbound/outbound expatriates.
• Participate in expatriate tax meetings.
• Prepare U.S. payroll estimates including hypothetical tax and shadow payroll.
• Communicate with corporate clients and assignees.
• Assist with consulting projects including compensation and policies.
• Conduct tax research and review tax authority notices.
• Coordinate with workforce teams and firm-wide resources.
• Assist with practice management and client billing.
• Collaborate with Baker Tilly member firms worldwide.
