Baker Tilly Advisory Group, LP in the Washington, DC area seeks an Experienced Tax Associate to join our Global Mobility Services practice, delivering expatriate tax planning, consulting, and compliance expertise for inbound and outbound assignees.

You will collaborate with HR, tax and payroll teams across Baker Tilly member firms, assisting with tax equalization and cross-border assignments while growing in a fast‑growing international tax practice.

Qualifikationen

• Undergraduate degree in Accounting or related field required.
• GPA 3.0+ preferred.
• CPA, JD or EA eligibility or pursuit desired.
• At least 1 year of experience with U.S. individual income tax.
• Experience with international tax, expatriates, and tax equalization is a plus.
• Eligible to work in the U.S. without sponsorship preferred.

Aufgaben

• Prepare U.S. individual income tax returns for inbound and outbound assignees.
• Participate in expatriate tax meetings for assignees.
• Prepare payroll estimates including hypothetical tax and shadow payroll calculations.
• Communicate with corporate clients and their assignees.
• Assist with consulting projects including compensation and policy reviews.
