Job summary

Ramp is expanding its People Operations team and seeking an experienced Immigration & Global Mobility lead. You will own immigration strategy, manage visa cases across the US, UK, and Canada, and build scalable relocation processes for employees worldwide.

You will collaborate with Legal, Finance, and Recruiting to navigate regulatory changes while keeping a human, employee-centric focus. As the internal immigration expert, you’ll design scalable playbooks for new markets and ensure compliance

Qualifications

• 5-7+ years in People Operations, global mobility, immigration, and compliance in a global context
• Strong vendor management skills with immigration counsel and relocation partners
• Experience building processes from scratch at a scaling company
• Autonomy and ownership; accountability and follow-through
• Kindness and compassion for people navigating high-stakes situations
• Excellent written and verbal communication; translate complex issues clearly
• Highly organized with ability to manage multiple tasks and adapt to ambiguity

Responsibilities

• Own and shape immigration strategy; benchmark vs market practice and manage vendors and counsel
• Lead full lifecycle of U.S., UK, and Canadian visa cases with external partners
• Serve as Ramp's internal immigration expert and advise on visa eligibility during hiring
• Design and manage relocation processes; end-to-end international relocation cases
• Advise partners and leaders on mobility questions with practical guidance
• Ensure compliance across countries Ramp operates in, including cross-border remote work and travel
