Job summary

Shriners Hospitals for Children in Tampa seeks a Chief Membership Development Officer to lead enterprise-wide membership strategy across three organizations, directing staff, volunteers, and partners. You will design systems, processes and campaigns to grow membership, improve engagement, and diversify revenue while upholding governance and brand standards.

The role requires a decade in related work, governance experience, and a track record of leading complex programs with volunteers.

Qualifications

• 10 years of related work experience.
• 7 years volunteer management experience.
• 5 years of strategy and Board Governance experience, including leading as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
• Senior membership role in Shrine; male candidate expected to become a member of Shriners International within one year of hire.

Responsibilities

• Create, implement and measure enterprise-wide systems and processes to grow the organization.
• Sustain and grow revenue streams (Per Capita) and oversee dues renewal campaigns for >$20M revenue.
• Collaborate with Boards, senior staff and volunteers to guide strategy, investments and programs.
• Maintain a consistent image, brand and communications for Shrines to internal and external audiences.
