Job summary

Bristol Myers Squibb is seeking a Global Medical Psychiatry Strategy leader (MPL) to guide medical strategy for schizophrenia and oversee the global execution of medical activities. The Executive Director will lead a team of Medical Strategy leads and report to the VP, Head of Global Medical Psychiatry.

The role requires 10–15+ years in pharma, advanced scientific training, and strong cross-functional leadership to drive launches, lifecycle work, and regional strategies across markets.

Qualifications

• Advanced degree in a scientific discipline or equivalent mix of education and experience.
• 10–15+ years in pharmaceutical development within life sciences or biopharma.
• Minimum 4 years of medical affairs experience in Psychiatry.
• Global or US experience highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Psychiatry, Schizophrenia medical strategy team and global planning.
• Develop and execute worldwide medical strategy for Psychiatry, Schizophrenia.
• Collaborate with cross-functional partners (Commercial, Regulatory, Safety, Labeling, QA, Manufacturing).
• Oversee late-life cycle medical activities and maintenance for brands.
• Lead regional medical affairs strategies in major markets and intercontinental regions.
• Drive congress and field medical plans, trainings, and advisory meetings.
