Job summary

Bristol Myers Squibb Co. is seeking a Global Medical Psychiatric Strategy Leader (MPL) in New Jersey to guide medical strategy for Psychiatry, Schizophrenia, and global execution across markets.

This role leads a team, partners with cross-functional stakeholders, and shapes early and late-stage medical activities. The Executive Director will manage regional strategies, contribute to advisory meetings, and oversee budgeted medical activities with a focus on global launches and commercialization.

Qualifications

• Advanced degree (PhD, MD, DO, NP, PA, PharmD) or equivalent.
• 10+ years of pharma development experience in life sciences/biopharma.
• Minimum 4 years in medical affairs, Psychiatry.
• International experience is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the Psychiatry, Schizophrenia medical strategy team globally.
• Develop, communicate, and execute worldwide medical strategy for Psychiatry, Schizophrenia.
• Collaborate with Medical SMEs, Brand, Local Medical leads, and cross-functional partners.
• Oversee late-life cycle medical activities and maintenance (labeling, safety, etc.).
• Drive regional medical affairs strategies with clinical development, market access, and commercial teams.
• Guide congress strategies, field medical plans, and training content.
