DLR Group seeks a Medical Education Design Leader to shape the future of medical education worldwide. Lead strategy, alignment of talent, and growth across offices to strengthen the firm's medical education portfolio.

You will guide planning, design, and collaboration with leadership to win opportunities and advance environments for learning, simulation, and research in healthcare education. This role leverages a national portfolio and international growth potential.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of relevant planning and design experience, including significant leadership on medical education projects.
• Established national portfolio demonstrating expertise in medical education.
• Proven success in client-facing leadership and pursuing higher education work.
• Strong programming, planning, and design for medical education environments.
• Ability to translate strategic vision into actionable priorities with senior leadership.
• Collaborate across offices and disciplines to build trust and lead through influence.
• Understanding of integrated design and coordination of architecture, engineering, interior design, and specialty disciplines.
• Excellent presentation, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to travel as project and practice needs require.

Responsabilités

• Shape strategy with the Global Higher Education Leader and grow the worldwide medical education practice.
• Lead pursuit strategy, proposals, interviews, and compelling design ideas to win significant work.
• Expand national and international reach by identifying new clients and partnerships.
• Guide programming, conceptual thinking, and design development for medical education environments.
• Collaborate with leaders and multidisciplinary teams across offices to align outcomes.
• Identify talent needs, support recruitment, mentor designers and planners, develop future leaders.
• Lead collaborative workshops, charrettes, and critiques translating models into learning spaces.
• Strengthen industry presence through conferences, publications, and professional relationships.
