Job summary

Markem-Imaje North America seeks a Mechanical Engineer II to join a global, cross-disciplinary team responsible for mechanical subsystems in current and future printers. You will develop concepts through production, create CAD models, validate designs with lab experiments, and collaborate across sites and with suppliers to meet customer needs and strategic goals.

You will apply tolerance analysis, FEA/CFD techniques, and rapid prototyping while advancing best practices to improve subsystem

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent.
• Experience in mechanical R&D within an industrial environment.
• Ability to read engineering drawings and tolerances.

Responsibilities

• Develop mechanical designs from concept through production.
• Produce 3D CAD models and drawings using Creo (Preferred) or similar tools; manage BoMs in Windchill.
• Plan and execute mechanical lab experiments for design validation.
• Present designs and findings in gate meetings and reviews.
• Collaborate with cross-functional, multi-site teams and suppliers.
• Drive improvements to engineering practices for efficiency and quality.
