Mountz, Inc. is seeking a Mechanical Engineer II to design, develop, test, and improve mechanical systems and products while collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative, high-quality solutions.

The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, analytical, and passionate about solving complex engineering challenges. Responsibilities include creating SolidWorks models, processing ECN changes, evaluating materials, and ensuring manufacturability for cost-effective parts.

Formación

• BSME with 3-5 years related experience or MS in Mechanical Engineering or Mechatronics.
• Superior design expertise.
• GD&T knowledge per ASME Y14.5-2009.
• Materials, heat treatment and fabrication techniques knowledge.
• Strong test process and data acquisition knowledge.
• Machining operations knowledge: molding, forging, stamping, turning, milling, welding.
• SolidWorks and PDM expertise.

Responsabilidades

• Creates, interprets, and corrects SolidWorks 3D models and 2D drawings.
• Reviews and signs Engineering Change Notices (ECN).
• Analyzes material selection for design, considering cost and time.
• Understands manufacturing needs to produce economical high-quality parts.
• Designs, develops and tests parts/assemblies for products or fixtures.
• Communicates with vendors, customers, and staff to define parameters.
• Completes quotes and supports transfer to operations.
• Assists in design for manufacturability and assembly documentation.
